The History of British Swim School

For over 40 yearsBritish Swim School has been dedicated to teaching water survival skills to children as young as three months old. British Swim School was founded in 1981 with unique and highly effective teaching methods that are a recognized trademark of the brand. In April 2019, multi-brand franchising organization, Buzz Franchise Brands, became the majority owner of British Swim School but our mission has never changed. Following the mantra, ‘Survival of the Littlest’, we are dedicated to teaching water survival skills.

NO BUILD OUT COSTS: We help our franchise owners acquire “access to warm water” by partnering with indoor pool owners in fitness centers, hotels, schools, and other community facilities. We contract with these underutilized pools to generate additional profit for the facility owner, and of course revenue for the franchisee. By using pool “space” managed by others, there are no ongoing costs associated with maintaining the facility. It’s a win-win situation! 
NATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS: British Swim School has existing partnerships with national fitness organizations like LA Fitness and 24 Hour Fitness and is always looking to secure additional partnerships at a national level. The company has also developed multiple local partnerships with other fitness centers, hotels and community centers. This helps our franchise owners to acquire pools quicker, without the need to negotiate new contracts with every location.

This is supported through ongoing digital marketing, a highly targeted direct mail program, our public relations campaigns and local, or grassroots, marketing, all working together.
